Welcome to Arborstone
Arborstone Enhanced Care is a licensed and accredited nursing home, located on Purcell’s Cove Road in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Arborstone is home to 190 clients where care and services address the unique needs of every client while promoting choice, flexibility and independence.
Arborstone is a four story building divided into 7 neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood features a nursing station and food servery as well as living, dining and activity rooms which create a friendly and comfortable home atmosphere for the clients that live there. Arborstone offers both private and semi private wheelchair accessible bed rooms with a private washroom. Arborstone also has an on-site wellness centre for occupational and physiotherapy services, a hair salon, and a spiritual centre.
Young Adults
Arborstone is one of the few facilities in Nova Scotia to offer long term care for young adults with special needs. This dedicated neighbourhood offers specialized care, services, programs, and activities that are specific to the needs of a younger age group.
