Opening in Fall 2024, Nova Scotia\u2019s first Transitional Health Centre will be located on Hogan Court in West Bedford, serving those in Nova Scotia\u2019s Central Zone. With 178 private rooms, the Centre will serve patients of Nova Scotia Health\u2019s Central Zone (18 years and older) who no longer require a hospital stay, but need additional support before they return home. Patients will have access to allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other nursing and allied health professionals in a collaborative, community care setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
