The six-month CCA Program at Kiknu will provide eligible applicants with an exciting opportunity to begin a new and rewarding career. CCAs are essential members of our care team, and we need more. <strong>The program is open to residents of Cape Breton, including those who live outside of the Eskasoni community.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With support from the Province of Nova Scotia, students will receive free tuition and textbooks, along with a wage subsidy for the duration of the program. Island Career Academy is excited to be providing this training on site, here at Kiknu in our beautiful classroom space. Learning will take place in the classroom at Kiknu with required hours of&nbsp;hands-on training. Students&nbsp;will benefit from a CCA curriculum,&nbsp;achieving the same learning outcomes as the traditional program but in a shorter time. Successful graduates will receive a guaranteed offer of full-time employment including a two-year return of service agreement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Eligibility<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Investing in yourself and your future is exciting, and our team is here to help make it easier!
