has-background has-link-color wp-elements-35b5aa5fb455be40272e0ca8500fa376\">The Pathways to Success CCA to LPN Bursary will support 10&nbsp;Shannex&nbsp;CCAs to become LPNs by providing financial and mentorship support.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&nbsp; &nbsp;If selected, you will be eligible for up to a maximum of $15,000 to support upgrading, tuition, examination preparation, and CPNRE exam costs.&nbsp;As part of the&nbsp;initial&nbsp;launch, employees in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are invited to apply,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;plan to&nbsp;expand the opportunity to employees&nbsp;in&nbsp;Ontario&nbsp;in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center has-regular-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To qualify for the program, applicants must:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have worked with&nbsp;Shannex&nbsp;as a CCA* for 2 years; preference will be given based on length of service (or to those with longer service)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a recommendation from your supervisor (no performance and attendance concerns)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Agree to complete the program in no longer than 3 years (1 year to upgrade if needed and 2 years to complete the PN program)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If required, agree to complete all academic upgrading requirements for eligibility into the PN program within 1 year from application&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be accepted into the Practical Nursing Program in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be willing to sign a 4-year Return in Service agreement to work as an LPN with&nbsp;Shannex&nbsp;or repay a prorated&nbsp;portion&nbsp;of the bursary&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*If you are not currently a CCA, we still encourage you to submit an Expression
