Over the holidays, she would bake one for each of her children and friends at Christmas. She even entered it into a baking contest and won first prize for best banana bread, winning her a personally engraved rolling pin.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more resident recipes at experienceparkland.com\/taste-of-home<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<br>1 cup white sugar<br>3 or 4 bananas<br>4 tbsps melted butter<br>1 \u00bd cups flour<br>1 tsp baking soda<br>\u00bc tsp salt<br>2 eggs<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Method<br>Mash bananas to a thin batter, add sugar, beat up and then add butter. Add salt and soda sifted with flour. Bake in a loaf tin in fairly hot oven, 350OF for 1 hour.
