Four times per year, team members nominate and vote for organizations or groups who are doing great work supporting seniors and making a difference in the community. Great People Give donations are a part of our <a href=\"https:\/\/shannex.com\/shannexcares\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shannex Cares<\/a> community program, which was inspired by our Great People to help create visible and meaningful opportunities for elders to be seen, heard and valued for their wisdom and talents. This is the second round of Great People Give donations being awarded.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recipients of the Great People Give donations of $1000 each are:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nova Scotia: <a href=\"https:\/\/bayseniors.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seniors Association of St. Margarets Bay (Bay Seniors)<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New Brunswick: <a href=\"https:\/\/hospicefredericton.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hospice Fredericton<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ontario: <a href=\"https:\/\/passionforparkinsons.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Passion for Parkinson\u2019s Foundation<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the recipients:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seniors Association of St. Margarets Bay (Bay Seniors)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seniors Association of St. Margarets Bay (Bay Seniors)<strong> <\/strong>promotes and participates in the development of wellness living for seniors; researches and represents the interests of seniors living in the greater St. Margaret\u2019s Bay area; and provides housing and accommodation options for seniors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hospice Fredericton&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hospice Fredericton is a 10-bed residential facility providing end-of-life care in a home-like setting.
