Faubourg du Mascaret<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Depuis 2019, les personnes a\u00een\u00e9es francophones de la r\u00e9gion de Moncton b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de multiples activit\u00e9s chaque semaine par le biais du projet Pivot sant\u00e9 pour a\u00een\u00e9s (PSA). Le PSA est un projet du Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes duvieillissement de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Moncton financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick. La gestionnaire du projet, Raymonde Saintil s\u2019assure que le PSA cr\u00e9e un milieu d\u2019innovation en sant\u00e9 pour les personnes a\u00een\u00e9es francophones en visant trois composantes\u202f: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) le service aux personnes a\u00een\u00e9es, soit l\u2019ore de services de promotion de la sant\u00e9 et de pr\u00e9vention de la maladie en fran\u00e7ais aux fins d\u2019augmenter la prise en charge de lasant\u00e9; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) la formation, soit de pr\u00e9coniser la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un milieu d\u2019apprentissage novateur (exp\u00e9riences cliniques communautaires en g\u00e9rontologie et g\u00e9riatrie) et le d\u00e9veloppement de collaborations interdisciplinaires; et <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) larecherche, soit de promouvoir la recherche collaborative entre les chercheurs, les partenaires du PSA et le Faubourg du Mascaret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les activit\u00e9s les plus populaires sont les sessions de yoga, d\u2019exercices physiques, le tai chi, les conf\u00e9rences ainsi que les projets avec les personnes \u00e9tudiantes. Faubourg du Mascaret<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Since 2019, francophone seniors in the Moncton area have been benefiting from multiple activities every week through the Pivot sant\u00e9 pour a\u00een\u00e9s (PSA)project. The project is from the Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes du vieillissement from the Universit\u00e9 de Moncton,funded by the New Brunswick government. The project targets three components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Offering health promotion and disease prevention services in French to increase health empowerment; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Advocating for the creation of an innovative learning environment and the development of interdisciplinary collaborations; and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Promoting collaborative research between researchers, PSA partners and Faubourg du Mascaret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
