Shannex President Jason Shannon; Bedford South MLA Damian Stoilov; Moody Hall resident Linda Slaunwhite; Seniors and Long-Term Care Minister Barbara Adams; and Shannex founder Joseph Shannon<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Nursing Home in Bedford, Nova Scotia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month, in Bedford, N.S., members of the community came together to witness the official Grand Opening of <a href=\"https:\/\/shannex.com\/location\/moody-hall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Moody Hall<\/strong><\/a>. This expansion from a 72-bed to a 144-bed licensed long term care home continues the legacy of Dr. Harold Moody, a distinguished humanitarian and civil rights activist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting Tuesday, April 22, we started welcoming residents into this new space. Phase 2 mirrors Phase 1, which opened in November 2024, and both phases connect to Main Street, a vibrant and purposefully designed social hub that encourages independence, community spirit and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event hosted valued guests, including Shannex President Jason Shannon; Bedford South MLA Damian Stoilov; Moody Hall resident Linda Slaunwhite; Seniors and Long-Term Care Minister Barbara Adams; and Shannex founder Joseph Shannon.
