Ready to Lead is\u00a0a six-month online microcredential program designed to help experienced Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs), Residential Care Workers (RCWs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) prepare for leadership roles in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in October 2024 and completed in June 2025, R2L provided 80 hours of professional development across six non-credit modules, including an understanding of the Nova Scotia healthcare system, leadership fundamentals, communication, building connections, ethical problem-solving, and personal growth. All R2L microcredentials have been developed using current, industry-relevant best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flexible format required two to three hours per week and was offered free of charge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to Alina Nechvolod, Paula Paez Lancheros (<a href=\"https:\/\/shannex.com\/location\/maplestone-enhanced-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maplestone Enhanced Care<\/a>), Mark Aymar (<a href=\"https:\/\/shannex.com\/location\/bissett-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bissett Court<\/a>), and Beverly Marriott (<a href=\"https:\/\/shannex.com\/location\/arborstone-enhanced-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arborstone Enhanced Care<\/a>), members of our community, who participated in the program. Your leadership journey is just beginning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator aligncenter has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe course has taught me the importance of integrity, honesty, how to develop a great team, and how to earn trust.
