{"id":6819,"date":"2020-11-20T13:48:52","date_gmt":"2020-11-20T13:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shannex.com\/non-classifiee\/active-high-alert-areas-updated-november-20-2020\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T12:19:19","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T12:19:19","slug":"active-high-alert-areas-updated-november-20-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shannex.com\/fr\/nouvelles-et-annonces\/covid-19-fr\/active-high-alert-areas-updated-november-20-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Zones actives d\u2019alerte \u00e9lev\u00e9e &#8211; Mise \u00e0 jour : 20 novembre 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The following areas have been declared \u201chigh alert\u201d :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Moncton area<\/strong>: Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Moncton area has also been designated Orange Phase by New Brunswick Public Health.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Halifax area<\/strong>: Halifax, Dartmouth, Sackville and Bedford<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>High Alert Areas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Communities located where there is a spike in COVID-19 cases will be declared \u201chigh alert\u201d. For these \u201chigh alert\u201d locations, we will implement increased precautions. This approach allows us to protect residents and team members by controlling the flow of people in and out of our communities while continuing to allow visitors in communities not affected by the outbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a community is located in a \u201chigh alert\u201d area, residents and families will receive notification from the management team at that location including information about precautions in place. Typically, precautions will be as follows and mainly affect visiting. These will be in place temporarily and assessed daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>For licensed long term care, memory care and assisted living buildings<\/strong>, all indoor, outdoor and off-site visits would be temporarily suspended with the exception of previously identified designated support people and palliative care visits.<\/li><li>Residents would be permitted to leave the community to attend appointments and upon return, actively screened.<\/li><li><strong>For all other retirement living buildings<\/strong>, visits are permitted but must take place in the resident\u2019s suite and visitors will be provided with a medical mask and actively screened when they arive.<\/li><li>Residents may leave the building and will be actively screen upon return.<\/li><li>Visitors coming from a high alert area will be restricted from entering any location outside the area.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As we respond to Wave 2, sometimes, we will proactively adopt protective measures before they become directives from public health bodies and this is always done with the health and safety of residents and team members as our guiding principle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions or concerns about high alert areas, please contact a member of the management team at your community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following areas have been declared \u201chigh alert\u201d : Moncton [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":7357,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[47],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6819","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-covid-19-fr"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
