Student Research Opportunities
Shannex partners with students and academic institutions on research that strengthens continuing care and enhances the lives of older adults. We believe that there is always an opportunity to learn and do better, and students play a key role in helping residents live their best lives while supporting our Great People in their work.
Through innovative, data‑informed projects, students gain hands‑on experience with emerging technologies, contribute to meaningful sector advancements, and work alongside like‑minded partners across the industry. All initiatives are reviewed to ensure ethical practice, valuable learning, and real impact.
Pathways to Success CCA to LPN Bursary
The Pathways to Success CCA to LPN Bursary supports 10 Shannex CCAs in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in pursuing LPN certification through funding and mentorship.
Selected applicants can receive up to $15,000 for upgrading, tuition, exam prep, and CPNRE fees. Applications will be accepted from employees in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
