Last week, residents at four Shannex and Parkland communities rolled up their sleeves to receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine.

“Shannex, Parkland and Faubourg employees are passionate about keeping our residents safe and we have all looked forward to being able to add this new layer of protection,” said Jason Shannon, President and Chief Operating Officer. “As more locations receive their supply of the vaccine for residents, we will be ready.”

Each person will be given a total of two doses of the vaccine. The second dose for these residents will be administered in three weeks.
