Lover’s Lane

When Joan and Floyd bumped into each other in the first-floor hallway of The Pemberley, Parkland West Bedford (NS), little did they know that it would be the first page of their love story. Shortly after that, their friends and neighbours dubbed the hallway “Lover’s Lane” after the pair.
“One night, after a few laughs, I jokingly proposed to Lloyd,” said Joan. “And two years later Lloyd retuned the proposal. I said yes.”
After spending evening games in the games room, hosting city tours to new Pemberley residents, and enjoying several glasses of wine, Joan and Lloyd married on September 14th, 2023.
They celebrated over the month of September with family and friends, and following the wedding, the Pemberley community invited all the residents to join in on their celebration.
“We are grateful to have so many loving family members and good friends,” said Joan.
