First Annual Legacy Memorial

Residents, families and team members of Parkland on Eglinton West, ON, gathered on July 21^st to honour residents who have passed away. This first annual Legacy Memorial was created to unite the community and celebrate the lives of former residents.

Jovana Bailey, General Manager at Parkland on Eglinton West, thought of the idea when she was the community’s Director of Care. Jovana is passionate about creating beautiful end-of-life experiences.

During the ceremony, guests shared memories about their loved ones before roses were gathered and placed into a community vase and beautiful white doves were released.
