Fabulous Marjorie celebrated her 100th birthday on January 31, 2024. Surrounded by the warmth of her loved ones, she hosted a grand celebration – a testament to her well-lived life. “I feel amazing, I had a wonderful party for my 100th birthday and I don’t feel 100. I am grateful that I have my health and independence. I am quite surprised I made it to 100,” – Marjorie.
Marjorie is the first resident living in our independent living community to reach the 100-year-old milestone at Parkland Fredericton in Fredericton, N.B.! As the 15th of 16 children, Marjorie worked as a nurse after going back to school when she was 40 years old. Happy Birthday Marjorie, and congratulations on 100 fabulous years!
