Great People Know Great People is an employee referral program designed to reward team members for their efforts to refer candidates to open job opportunities within the organization as part of our overall recruitment strategy.
Programs like this are valuable because team members can refer candidates they believe will contribute positively to the company culture and success!

Your Referral Matters
This initiative aligns with our mission to cultivate a positive company culture. We reward our Great People for referring candidates to open job opportunities.
When you encourage your family, friends or previous co-workers to apply, you not only contribute to our growth but can also benefit with a $500 bonus for each successful full or part-time candidate referred.
Referral Submission Process
Encourage your network to start a fulfilling career at Shannex through our Employee Referral Program.
Step 1: Spread the Word!
Before your referral applies online to the open job opportunity, let them know they’ll need to provide your name and email during the online application process.
Step 2: Referral Submission
After your referral completes their online application, expect an email from Shannex with the subject line “You were listed as a Great People Referral” that includes questions about their fit for the position.
Once completed, your referrals’ application will be flagged as a referral to our recruitment team
Step 3: Referral Bonus Eligibility
If your referral is successfully hired into a part-time or full-time position, you will be notified by our payroll team of your referral bonus and when you will receive it. Typically this would happen within the first 2-3 weeks of your referral being hired.

Frequently asked questions
You will let your referral know they need to apply online to the open job posting. As part of their job application, they will have the opportunity to include your first name, last name and email address.
Once their application is submitted, you will receive an email invitation inviting you to complete a short questionnaire confirming you are the referrer, and telling us why you think this candidate is the right fit for the job! This information goes directly to our recruiters and hiring managers who can read your responses as part of the candidates job application to help them in their in their hiring decisions!

The following criteria need to be met to be eligible for the referral bonus:
- They must include your name as part of their application, and you must complete the questionnaire so we can confirm it was you that referred them and is eligible for the bonus!
- The job must be a full time or part time role
- The candidate you referred has to be external, and not be employed by the organization in any way (i.e. casual)
- You must be employed by Shannex at the time you make the referral
