New Nursing Home in Moncton, New Brunswick

We’re thrilled to announce the official opening of Garraway Hall! This beautiful new community will soon be home to 60 residents, with the first resident moving in tomorrow. Spread across two neighbourhoods, each with 30 residents living on each floor,

Garraway Hall offers a warm and welcoming environment. Every neighbourhood is equipped with its own nursing station, dining room area, living room, library, and activity space. Plus, each resident has a private suite and washroom, ensuring privacy, safety, and comfort.

Garraway Hall is thoughtfully connected to Ocean Hall and Gordon Hall via an indoor Main Street. This vibrant space encourages independence and fosters a strong sense of community, featuring a café, town hall, hair salon, and multi-purpose room that can serve as a chapel, theatre, and community or gathering space.  The home also boasts beautiful courtyards with plenty of plants and flowers, creating a peaceful seating area where residents can relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Garraway Hall is named in honour of George Garraway, the first Black railway porter to work as a conductor in Canada—a groundbreaking achievement made possible by the support of his union and community.
