The walls of Parkland Clayton Park, Halifax, N.S. were brightened by Gary Chamberlain’s stunning watercolours. Inspired by his mother, Gary began painting as a teenager, finding his true passion. For him, inspiration can strike anytime. Something simple might trigger the urge to paint. “It just happens naturally,” he shares. His advice to someone exploring a new hobby: “Just do it. He helped create Art on Your Own, a self-directed group that brings residents together in a shared space where creativity sparks connection and lasting friendships.
