Transitional HEalth

Opening in Fall 2024, Nova Scotia’s first Transitional Health Centre will be located on Hogan Court in West Bedford, serving those in Nova Scotia’s Central Zone. With 178 private rooms, the Centre will serve patients of Nova Scotia Health’s Central Zone (18 years and older) who no longer require a hospital stay, but need additional support before they return home. Patients will have access to allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other nursing and allied health professionals in a collaborative, community care setting.
