The Power of Self Care
Shannex’s Learning and Development team supports team members in their personal and professional development with both online and in-person resources. As October is Wellness Month, we are featuring some of the self-care courses our Great People have access to, including coping with workplace change, combatting imposter syndrome, and improving overall mental health – all available in the Shannex Connects library.
Though self-care can look different for everyone, it can be as simple as going for a walk or taking some deep breaths. There are many benefits to prioritizing ourselves: improved focus, higher self-esteem, better relationships, and increased physical and mental resilience.
Self-care is important for everyone. One of our Guiding Principles is being Compassionate and that should be towards ourselves too!
