When residents learned that Quentin, one of the maintenance workers at Parkland Fredericton, would be welcoming a little bundle of joy on August 31st, they requested that they have a community baby shower!
The event was a heartwarming success, with 45 residents and several team members joining together in the courtyard under the gazebo on a sunlit day. The team decorated the gazebo with a bee theme, including bright yellow and black decorations, an array of snacks and fun games, all to honor the arrival of their little “honey bee”.
Quentin and his wife Emma were touched and surprised at the turnout of the party in their baby’s honor. This was Emma’s first visit to Parkland Fredericton, she was overwhelmed by the residents’ warm words, thoughtful advice and generous gifts. She saw clearly how much the residents love Quentin!
The excitement continues as everyone eagerly awaits the baby’s arrival, with predictions nearly split: 25 votes for a boy and 23 votes for a girl!
Congratulations to Quentin and Emma, we wish you, and your baby, health and happiness!
