We are pleased to welcome Trish Arrowsmith as our General Manager for Shannex’s newest enhanced care home. With professional experience in human resources, community services, and government, Trish brings a broad range of expertise and fresh eyes to the team at Adeline Hall!

Previously, Trish held senior leadership positions within Community Corrections in Saskatchewan and Michif Child and Family Services in Manitoba, leading large interdisciplinary teams, cultivating strong partnerships, and ensuring regulatory compliance.  Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and formal education in Human Resources and Business Management.

Trish most recently served as a Long Term Care Advisor with the Nova Scotia Department of Seniors and Long Term Care, where she oversaw governance and the delivery of high-quality programs.

Trish also has personal experience with long term care, having recently helped her mother settle into a nursing home. This firsthand perspective deepened her understanding of the support families need during such transitions. She is committed to providing the same comfort her own family received.

She believes in dedicating time to supporting her team’s growth and resident care, while fostering an approachable environment that encourages open, supportive conversations.

Trish’s goal for Adeline Hall is to ensure quality care. She shared, “When I leave after visiting my mom, I know she’s being cared for to high standards. I want families at Adeline to feel the same confidence.”

Congratulations, Trish!

Welcome to the Shannex team
