Transitional Health
Serving patients 18+, this new innovative model of care is the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. Clinical and allied health team members work together to help patients improve functional health so they can transition back to the community.
Long Term Care
Residents from different backgrounds and communities come together to create the fabric of home in long term care. Designed with residents in mind, Shannex homes are known for natural light, new equipment, and beautiful gathering spaces for residents, visitors and team members.

New Nurse Prescribing Program
Shannex and the Health Association of Nova Scotia recently collaborated to create a new model program to improve healthcare delivery in long term care communities. Four Shannex RNs recently completed the inaugural Certificate in Registered Nurse Prescribing course at Dalhousie University.
A Strong, Supportive Culture
Starting her journey as a registered nurse at Arborstone Enhanced Care in 2012, Emily progressed as a Community Manager and a Director of Care before joining the team at Moody Hall as the General Manager. Her approach to creating a strong culture is rooted in helping team members feel valued.
