Great People Give: Spring 2025 Donation Recipients

At Shannex, giving back is part of who we are. One of the ways we do this is through Great People Give, a program where our Great People nominate and vote for community organizations that make a real difference in the lives of older adults.
Each quarter, we proudly award a $1,000 donation to one organization in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario. These donations support the incredible work being done across our communities, and we’re excited to share the latest recipients.
- Nova Scotia: Hospice Halifax
- New Brunswick: Miramichi Community Food Bank
- Ontario: Hospice Mississauga
About the Recipients
- Hospice Halifax provides compassionate end-of-life care, grief support, and education to individuals and families at no cost, ensuring dignity, comfort, and connection when it matters most.
- Miramichi Community Food Bank offers vital food support and essential items to individuals and families in the Miramichi region, working every day to fight food insecurity.
- Hospice Mississauga supports individuals and families through palliative care, caregiver support, and grief programs. As well as helping people navigate life’s most challenging moments with compassion.
