Care at Home Feature
Jessica Smith is the new Client Services Manager for Care at Home. She has worked in healthcare for 21 years, spending most of this time in geriatrics. She started in Duncan, Oklahoma and continued this work until graduating as an LPN in 2006. In 2008, Jessica moved to Nova Scotia.
Before becoming the Client Services Manager for Care at Home, Jessica worked at Caritas Residence in Halifax, NS, as a Client Services Coordinator and Interim Client Services Manager.
“I love being a nurse and caring for those around me,” Jessica said. “In my new role, I care for residents in many communities and help build individualized care plans that meet each resident’s specific needs.”
Jessica is excited to continue to learn and grow in her new role as Care at Home evolves. Care at Home is an integral part of the Shannex continuum of care. It supports residents’ independence while ensuring they receive the care and services they need to live well.
