In this issue, we’re proud to share stories about the special bonds that are built between the people who live and work in our communities. Each story reminds us that our Shannex, Parkland and Faubourg locations are so much more than physical buildings. They are filled with people who, together, form a vibrant tapestry of life experiences, knowledge, and wisdom that enrich us all.

Your heart will be warmed by a beautiful love story that unfolded at Arborstone Enhanced Care (Page 11-12), the meaningful new tradition of honouring the lives of residents who have passed (Page 9), and the way our communities recognized the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with events, activities and education (Page 5). In honour of Continuing Care Month, we dedicated our Caught You Being Greats and the cover photo for this issue to Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs)across Nova Scotia. Read about their contributions on Page 16.

This edition is a celebration of togetherness, and we hope the stories in the following pages capture the laughter, conversations, and companionship that exists within all of our communities.
