When she’s not with her residents, Tammy is an avid cyclist. To celebrate her 50th birthday, she embarked on a 642-kilometre ride across New Brunswick to fundraise for The Moncton Hospital’s Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic and the oncology inpatient unit.

In addition to raising $1,200 (and counting) for the hospital, Costain also made lasting friendships and added to her bank of stories to tell residents.”Hearing stories and life experiences makes my job even better,” she said. “I love being able to share mine, and now I have a few more.
